Um...

So...

Remember when your brother was my highschool boyfriend and before that he dated Sonya and after me he dated Sonya again...and you were his sister...?

And you worked at a bookstore in Jordan Landing...

...and then I found your blog and acted like we were best friends?

...yeah. I've got nothing.

I'll still be back though!

ha! Sheryl--how about the time you were in Bye Bye Birdie and I was obsessed with the show and I think I saw it every single night and I remember thinking that you were perfect and that I wanted to be able to sing and dance like you...

I remember you lots from High School actually, but there isn't a time that comes to mind that I can post here. So I am going to comment on something that you had posted not that long ago about your financial troubles and giving it all to the Lord. Well I sat here in tears reading that post because everything you said I was feeling about my own life. I really connected with that post. I love your honesty and your humor! Keep up the awesome posts!

That was awesome! I felt very strong and indistructable at that moment!!

LAter tht night I laied in bed and thought about it again, and told the story to my husband.. he thought we were far from smart, and explained the dangers of men who use drugs... LOL!!

I love your blog! I love the way you write!!

Remember when... OK so I this is going to sound very cheesy. Remember when in my mind I really wanted to ask you if you wanted to be my friend? I truely think that we would hit it off. Ask Danny he will vouge (sp?) for me I am really nice. If you don't want to ask Danny Ask my sister KayeLynn or her Awesome husband Jeremy. Her Blog inspires me, cheers me up, and keeps me going. OK, I am done being cheesy... So what do ya think?
PS, I do have a blog if your interested you can find the link on Kayes blog.

So yeah I really only know you through Erin and Mary but I LOVE your blog! I am a loser who looks at other peoples blogs that I hardly even know LOL! But you are one funny chick. I am only leaving a comment because I basically asked the same thing on MY blog and not one person responded so...................like I said...loser =)

Oh yeah...and Im in love with your son's dimples.

Yeah..."groin" is a classic that will never die.

Greg/Angie--I'm not sure what you're talking about. I have NEVER asked you to comment on my blog.

Shannon--you are so sweet. Thank You.

Kellie--the drug deal will go down in history as the dumbest thing I have ever done. "We saw you!"

Krissie--is that an official invitation?

Brianna--please, we ALL blog stalk. I've just been so busy that I forget to stalk over to your blog more often! :)

The more I try to think of a RaeLynn memory the more I realize that the time in my life that I knew you I was completely selfish and self-centered. WHen people tell me how many kids went to WJHS I don't even believe them because, WHAT-EVER...it was totally just me and me eight friends, right??

I do have lovely memories of you being cute and sweet and funny though. So if that counts, then there you go.

Bye Bye Birdie. Classic.
Krissie said…
Yes, please consider it an official invitation. I will be waiting with bated breath for your answer!

a certain flashing-light construction sign comes to mind... and many long talks and hilarious laughs and "take out a loan wynnsong" and ballroom dance and stories about toy-toy and sleepovers. COME UP TO LOGAN RIGHT NOW.
Kathy said…
i was going to say "take out a loan wynnsong" too! i membie meeting you and laughing harder than i had in a long time. the creation of "the poo", and wising days. :)

Holy Cow, Rae! I have way too many to remember. But I do wish we could have been as close of friends as we were during the first of HS. Dang boys. :) I tell ya there are a lot, but I loved hanging out with you and Melissa.

I haven't seen you for so long, but reading your blog I swear - it seems like I just saw you yesterday. My memory is just a general memory of me walking in to work & immediately checking the schedule to see if I got to work w/ you that day (& if Val & Devon were working too, that was a super bonus.) Then you'd walk in & I'd think "Yay! Now the fun begins." I LOVED working w/ you! You should totally move to Idaho! Then we could both get jobs at DB in Rexburg just so we could work together again. Oh, fun days!
I love that my girls love you! You're such a girlie girl and make them feel so beautiful and special. Especially at your awesome sleepover parties. My girls are so impressed with your huge collection of make-up and think that mine is pretty pathetic. I would love to see it someday! I hope you're getting ready for them when they are teenagers because I'm sending them your way when they won't listen to me and think I don't understand them and I'm ruining their life! Thanks for being such a great sister-in-law/aunt! I also wish that I'd known you in high school because it would have been fun to be silly with you.
Angie
Remember when we had the "mommy night" and played games, ate yummy treats and laughed all night? That was seriously so much fun, and I remember being sore from laughing so much, but sadly I can't remember half the stuff we were laughing at! My favorite part was when we were up so late, so tired, but still chatting until the wee hours of the night. I loved getting to know you better, and LOVE that you are so dang hilarious!

Should we try and shoot for another one of those nights before you move? I'm game if you are...we'll talk....

I remember watching fireworks in our car that summer that you moved back to Utah. And playing games, and singing in the ward choir, etc. I loved that quartet we all did in our Christmas program and the one we sang in the Spanish branch. Fun times! By the way, I still need your phone number so we can finalize plans for Tuesday! Email me!
Kayleen said…
Yeah, I have lots of memories of you. Which one do I choose? Basically I just idolized you in high school, seeing as how you were a totally awesome, outgoing, and HIL-freakin-ARIOUS senior when I was a wee sophomore. I remember I loved being in the "social dance" class I took with you, Melissa, Robby Palmer, Derek Glade, and a bunch of other people. I thought Scott was even cooler too, by the mere fact that he was your brother. You Millers are like... untouchable in the humor department.
Kayleen said…
Okay, I have to add one more. A more recent one that comes to mind is when I so "slyly" facilitated your meeting of the David Archuleta family (minus little D and daddy who were gone on tour.) I felt pretty cool for helping you gain your hearts desire, plus the added bonus of getting to see you after like... 8 years. Now I can say I was a small part of the post that made you famous on FanBlast. Ha. I'm really not that lame, I'm just trying to be funny. Once again, I fail miserably to rise to the funniness level of the great Rae White. ;)

Memory of RaeLynn and I...Do you remember how our ears would always suction together when we hugged? I remember you and your smile. Whenever I think of you, I think of that gorgeous smile and contagious laugh to go with it. Thanks for being my alto buddy too!

Memory of Danny and I...Do you remember running into me MULTIPLE times at McDonalds for a late breakfast? And it was purely accidental too! I remember our early Sounding Joy days with Jeremy, Jessie, Eric, Gary, Kirsten, Stephanie, Meg, Russ and everyone else I'm drawing a blank on! Those were the good old days of Brother Allen. Do you also remember me asking you to go to Beauty and the Beast with me but you had to go with TORI even though you had broken up because you bought tickets when you were together!

And by the way...I'm so sorry I've been such a space cadet about Brad Blanchard. I asked him if he remembered you and he totally does. He's awesome and has the 4 cutest little boys! They are a great addition to the family for Cameron to play with since before them, he only had girl cousins...7 of them!

I just think you two are some of the greatest people I know and I thoroughly LOVE reading your blog. Your little guy Cole is just adorable and I just want to crawl in those dimples everytime I see them! You guys are great examples to me and I sure love you both!

I remember laughing hysterically in the back room about how I knew that someday my future life was destined to include me being the "fat mom with the van." Yeah. So we got a van in December (but it is a hot smoking 2 dvd screen van, does that help?) and the fat part....I've had three kids, give me a break! Sooooo.....I also remember the bad hair (of course) and thinking that I wanted you to marry my brother so that I could be related to you! You have to be the coolest girl ever, of course! And I love that you still say, "Dang, Gina" because I totally can hear you saying that!

Oh my gosh, I am having WAY TOO MUCH fun reading these. I might have to print them out and frame every single one. :)

Britt--I am on my way. ahhhh the storeies about "toyz". I am smiling lie an idiot right now.

Kathy--Seriously, "Take out a loan" was a joke! Too bad we supported their efforts in becoming the largest company in Utah Valley.

Aubrey--I know what you mean! Boys and High School just don't mix all that well :) And none of us ended up with the one we thought we would! Dah well--it's better that way. I miss the easy days of just hanging out and acting like total morons.

Jennie--How sweet are you?! I have a distinct memory of coming into work one Saturday and DREADING IT...because, yeah it was Saturday. And I saw your happy face when I walked in the door and suddenly I was excited to work :)

Angie--I'm starting to feel the very heavy burdene of being the coolest aunt...jk. I hope I don't screw up your girls too much!

Norda--I will NEVER forget that night when we laughed our freaking brains out. You, Jenna and I were the real troopers. Was it 1 AM?? Oh man, we need to get together pronto.

Aubry--I remember that too! And thinking "this is so gay that we can't get closer to the fireworks...dumb fire hazards". I was pregnant though--so don't hold it against me.

Kayleen--MY HERO. :) You are way funnier than you give yourself credit for. I can't even handle how thoughtful you are to hook me and "Sister Archuleta" up as BFF ;)
I will probably always owe you for that.

Julie--you are SOO NICE! Those choir days were so fun. I actually think about that a lot. Also, I am totally laughing outloud over the suctioning ear thing! It was the weirdest thing ever! :) hahahahaha.

Devon--oh my heavens, I know I already commented on your blog, but that conversation will live on in the history of BEST conversations in the world. Seriously. I can't believe that right after we get re-acquainted you are leaving :(
Kellie Glade said…
Rae~ You already have way more comments than I would ever have. I know you through my wonderful husband, Derek. Even though I have only actually met you a few times...everytime I always tell Derek how much fun it would be to get together with you guys. You crack me up and anyone that can do that, is my friend for life. I'm still wanting to set our kids up when they start dating...hello, we named Raegan after you "Rae-Rae". Thanks for working so hard in getting Derek's 10 year high school reunion put together. It will be a blast and we can't wait to attend. See you then!
Rae- I believe it was well after 1am. When I finally crawled into bed Kendall woke up and was surprised (and kind of mad because he had been worrying about us) it was so late. I wanna say it was just after 3am-ish. It did take a few days for me to recover, but I think that was just because I was pregnant.

Remember when we first met and YOU thought I would be the COOLEST sister in law because we were both student body historians at our schools?

Maybe I am assuming too much but don't ruin the memory for me, okay?

Still love ya! ;)

I've dropped by a few times and usually stay an hour on your blog. Great stuff. I'm just a blog reader, but my middle name is Rae, so that's cool.

Did you know that Rae spelled backwards is ear? LOL Now that's a memory for ya hahahahah

member when we shared a bed cause you and Danny weren't married yet and I, being a cuddly newly-wed, nuzzled up to you in the middle of the night -- thinking of course that you were my Brian. Yeah, that should have been awkward, but if I remember right I warned you before we fell asleep.

Raelynn... I didn't really get to know until our Senior year and I'm so glad we were in office together. I love that I've been able to get to know you even better through blogging. You are spunky and funny and so nice to everyone... just a few things that I love about you.
I remember our fun camping trips to mirror lake and the hamock episode, how I was so terrified of it! Now I wish I had one and I dont think i would ever get out of it. Those camping trips are a blast and this is the first year I missed it cuz I am getting ready to move to TX. And you are the most dedicated blogger i have ever seen!
Holy crap! I shouldn't say that on a blog, but 31 comments on memories with you?? I think you are very loved! And of course I have to add my twenty cents. I remember Honduras of course. I remember following behind you in Paraiso and thinking, this girl has an injured back and she's still a faster walker than I am! lol, but I knew it was because you loved the Lone family so much and I was so impressed with your tough demeanor, just walking through your pain because your goal was more important to you. I also remember the jalon (sp.?) that we got and the picture took shortly after with our hair fro-ed out. We looked so awesome. Pretty much you were my white hermana, and always will be, no matter how cool you become! Love ya!

I don't have many memories of high school, but I do remember having fun with you and many others riding the bus to dances. It was great!!! I am sorry that I didn't get to know many of you until our last year...you all are so wonderful...can't wait to see you again!!!

Meeting you for the first time when I was probably 13. We finally realized how utter cool the other was about 10 years LATER! Dang. I guess you just finally matured enough. LOL Sounding Joy and boys, boys, boys. Those were seriously fun days. No wonder we both married guys we met in choir.
Miss you.

I have lots of memories of you in HS. I still remember what your posters looked like when you were running for office (how lame is that) but it means you had a great campaign :) But some of my best memories are from the girls trip we took up to Rexburg to tour Ricks college! It was THEN I knew you were the funniest girl ever!

ps. The reunion was a total blast. You did SUCH a great job! Thanks again for all your hard work!
Kristen said…
I can't think of any specific memories from high school. Just that you were an all-around really nice girl. And so FUNNY! And you were friends with everybody which was awesome.

I had a fun time helping you out the little bit I did with the reunion. You did such a great job and were so fun to work with. And you were hilarious last night emceeing the whole thing. I hope your checkbook thing works out - that stinks. But overall you planned a very successful reunion!

You and me, sitting in the back of Michelle Benson's NEW car, driving into D.C. and putting on makeup as we drove, Michelle jokingly says, "Rae if you get makeup on my car so help me..." you say "Whatever Michelle - like that would happen...what if?!! Ha Ha Ha" THEN we hit a speed bump and you DRAW A LINE OF MASCARA ON THE CEILING OF HER NEW CAR!!! - Okay that was pretty much the FUNNIEST experience of that WHOLE D.C. trip. I love you Rae!

You are my fellow Hist/Pres.
Physics class with Ed Willis. I don't actually think we learned much about physics, per say.
Yelling "MILLER!" and "WARNER!" down the school hallway. We both have naturally curly hair.

The Brady Bunch skit in seminary when you were a perfect and hilarious Marsha.

And of course stud. gov stuff that was da bomb. I loved working with you as you provided many fortnights of jovial entertainment. (remember trying to use big words unnecessarily?) love you, girl!

Hi Rae! Through a string of blogs, I happened upon yours and I so glad I did. You are still so stinkin' funny!! I have really enjoyed looking at your pictures...your little family is so darn cute!

My favorite memory is from concert choir when you were my alto buddy. Sitting next to each other, you constantly made me laugh...i don't know how we made it through without getting kicked out! Thanks for always making me laugh and for being so kind.
