Graduation, Magic & Pizza
Yes, Cole has fulfilled all the requirements to graduate from preschool :) It was so cute watching all the little preschoolers and kindergarteners get up on stage and perform. They sang 4 songs and we watched a slideshow and they got their diplomas...you might have to be a Mom to appreciate it, I don't know. It was so cute. I was co-directing the music and I got all emotional during the last song of "God Bless the USA". They ang it with SO much enthusiasm and even though our Country is pretty much hanging on by a thread, I believe that these young children are being raised in a way that will only improve our situation. These are GOOD kids and I love them!
Lining up in the hallway...before going onstage
Watching Miss Elena during the Spanish Song.
The Pre-K students doing their actions to the "Who Let the Letters Out". After they finished their songs, they were supposed to sit down. Cole was the last one standing and couldn't find a spot to sit on the risers. So naturally the spotlight was on him. He burst out "I can't find a place to sit!!" and everyone cracked up because there was clearly enough room, he was just feeling really crowded. I kind of felt bad because he was genuinely worried. Once everyone laughed, he was perfect fine though. Shocker :)
Kindergarteners singing The Fifty Nifty States
Waiting patiently (or not so patiently for the "big kids" to finish singing)
Principle Yorgason presenting Cole with his diploma
Doesn't Cole look thrilled? He took his hat off about half way through the ceremony and refused to put it back on because "it was itchy". Luckily his charming teacher was able to convince him to wear it RIGHT at the end.
3 takes to get a good picture of this joker. He was so cute. "Mom, I graduated. I can't believe I graduated"...
The day after graduation, the kids got to watch a Magician. He was awesome. I was seriously impressed with all his tricks. I was just as entertained as the kids! |
This was a few weeks ago but my class (the Discovery Kindergarten class) had a Pizza Party and thanks to Madison and her parents, we all had a great time :)

P.S. That magician is my boss from Alta Pines's husband. He is the guy that used to now the lawns.
