Soccer Practice Take 1

Cole LOVED his first soccer practice.  It's a co-ed team and I was surprised at how aggressive the girls were.  More so than the boys on the team...they were also pretty good so we have lots of room for improvement but since this is pretty much Cole's first real exposure to soccer we expected as much.

When we got to the field Cole was constantly asking his coach questions...first they were soccer related and then...not so much.  He wanted the coach to see the bottom of his shoes, watch him put one of the cones on his soccer ball because it was his "birthday hat", then wanted the coach to time how fast he could run to the fence and back.  Then my personal favorite: "Coach! Look how high I can climb!" Then he realizes that he can't climb down on his own and starts screaming.  Don't worry--I saved the day, while sneakily taking a picture while I walked towards him. (Hence the blurriness).

The last 20 minutes consisted of Cole running over to me and giving me random kisses, sitting down on the field while saying "Coach, I'm just so tired" and watching the swarm of children chasing the ball.  I think he wore himself out before practice even started by running laps around the cones.  We'll have to make sure to store up some of his energy for the actual practice. :)

His first game is Wednesday so this should be interesting!

Okay Rae, I'm totally weird, but I have the biggest craving to watch our biggest loser audition video and I cannot for the life of me find it. Do you know where it is?? I need a good laugh.. :)
