Little America Party

We had a good time at Danny's first work party at the Little America Hotel. It was a pretty fancy ordeal considering it was being catered to little kids. They did it in one of the ballrooms, and had Ice Age 2 showing while feeding hotdogs, chips and drinks to everyone. There was also people making all sorts of things out of balloons, face painting (which Cole didn't truly enjoy...he got the most simple picture we could think of...a snowflake), and of course pictures with Santa. Unfortunately, due to our late arrival, by the time we went to get pictures taken with Santa, we were told that Santa had left, but that we might be able to reach another one in a different room. So we went hunting for Santa...and boy did we find him! We found 2 Santas coming out of the Men's Room, and managed to get a picture taken with one of them before they were off to another appointment. It's pretty funny because I had to crop out the Men's Bathroom tile from the background on all these pictures. Photoshop is a beautiful thing. All in all, it was a good time, even though Cole was exhausted. I think he was just overwhelmed by all the sights and sounds. (We don't get out much). It's fun having a little one around the holidays though--we're looking forward to spending another Christmas with our little Coleman.
