Why didn't they tell me?

You are going to love Tuesdays. From now on...Tuesdays are the new Fridays. I've been going through a bunch of pictures since the move and I have found some priceless treasures. Most of them involve me looking gross but I figure I should spread the joy of laughter into your lives. They're just too good not to share. So, I introduce to you--"Why didn't they tell me?"
This will basically involve me showing you nasty pictures of myself/friends (heh) and wanting feedback on WHY no one told me that what I was wearing/doing was NOT socially acceptable. I believe that as human beings we all need to look out for each other. Apparently--no one was looking out for me during my teenage years...I have pictures to prove it.
In case you think I'm serious--this is all light hearted fun...I just seriously needed to share the laughs.

Top: We had no idea what "rainbows" meant with respect to orientation. Don't worry--at girls camp all 3 of us (Mary Hind, Amy Hirschi & myself) wore rainbow bandanas and shared a tent for 5 days. Hmmmmm. We were also inseperable.
Bottom Left: Is there anything in this picture that is NOT alarming? The braces, the big round glasses, the BANGS, the fact that we are holding hands and clinging to each other...
Bottom Right: The fact that I am wearing a SWEATER in June with denim shorts. It may have been a chilly night--but come on. A sweater?!?! I hold every last one of you in this picture responsible!
Please oh please enlarge this to get the full effect...

(PS Thanks for letting me peek into your blog life!)
Good on ya! Go look at my sisters blog- she has a picture of herself in docs with loose fit jeans, a polo, and YES- big old wool socks. It doesn't get much worse!
