What a month
I'm not sure where to start after not having posted anything for a whole month! But we'll start with Cole's surgery. Just after Christmas, Cole started showing signs of an infection (and even though we thought he was just teething, Danny was wise enough to get him into a doctor a.s.a.p. So within 3 days, we saw several doctors who said they'd "never seen anything quite like this", which was, admittedly a little nerve-racking. We were sent on day 3 to Primary Children's Hospital so that Cole could be operated on. He had an infected lymph node in his groin area, and they didn't want to waste any time...so he was quickly operated on, and took a few weeks to recover. Meanwhile, my Grandma Egan passed away (the day after Cole's surgery), and that was pretty emotional as well. We were also in the middle of getting packed up, and ready to move, so all of this came at a pretty hectic time. Thank goodness for Priesthood blessings, and the peace that can come from the Holy Ghost.
