Blasted Root Canals...
Yes, I have been having tooth pain. Severe tooth pain. It's amazing how in the matter of a week, the pain went from about a 4 to an 11 (on a scale of 1-10). I ended up having an abscess from a root canal done 5 years ago, while in the MTC, and then the endodontist discovered the REAL source of my horrid pain--my top left molar which was causing me to literally rock myself to sleep and try to use self hypnosis to calm myself down. It didn't work by the way, I just couldn't hack it. However, somehow I got through it, and am now happily taking my anti-biotics and Lortab. Teeth are crazy little things. And for your viewing pleasure, I have attached a few pictures of what it looks like when you have an abscess and also what a typical root canal procedure consists of. It is not fun, and this makes a grand total of 4 for me. However, I have to give credit to several people who helped me:
My mom & dad helped out with Cole when I was laying in bed basically paralyzed by pain, my wonderful visiting teacher who snuck me some percocet from when she had her baby (it was literally an answer to a prayer, so don't judge her, or me for that matter, heh), my loser face dentist who wouldn't give me more pain medication which allowed Jenna to help me out, and thus receive numerous blessings poured out upon her head, Danny for being Captain Patient with me, and just basically being the best husband a girl could ask for, and oh yeah...my friends that I emailed about 20 times complaining about how much pain I was in. They are seriously champs for putting up with my chronic complaining over the matter. Oh yeah, and Jenna gets double the blessings for driving me to my appointment this morning, and waiting around with her 11 month old son for 2 hours!! Yes, she wins. Too bad I couldn't call in sick to eBay, because I have about 35 orders piling up that need to be shipped out ASAP. Anyway, that is all. Thank goodness for supportive family and friends who helped me out--or I would have been a total basket case. Life is crazy right now!! I need a vacation.
