My discovery

It's simple, really. I love breadmakers. I used my sister-in-law's breadmaker today, and I am in love. I didn't cook the bread in it--just prepared the dough, and then I baked the bread in the oven. But really--how have I not had one of these?? Welcome to the 21st century. I admit, that as much as I admire the Pioneers, I like that I don't have to make bread the way they did. Call me lazy, but I have other things to do with my time, so thank you very much breakmaker, we are going to be the best of friends from here on out.

oh my goodness - i can almost smell the bread through the computer screen. ser - looks delish - and nothing is better than baking bread in the winter. i don't have a machine - but that is a good way to do it by baking it after the machine does the mixing and such - then you get the "loaf" look.

So... I have a question... I have a breadmaker but my bread never looks like that. At what stage do you take the dough out and cook it?

P.S. I'm impressed with the poll. That seems complicated. I like white lights and the more the merrier! Colored are good too... just love lights and Christmas time!

Ha ha ha! I always say I don't make bread in the breadmaker because I'm too lazy. It's easier by hand.

But then again, I don't really ever make it. so...

More props to the bread maker :)
I use mine a lot to make pizza dough. It's quick, it's easy, and it tastes a lot better than the dough you can buy at the grocery store.
I think I'm going to go give mine a hug right now!

I can understand why you love bread makers... especially when you cook it on your own. Do you have one or do you want mine? I never use it. Making bread in a bosche is even easier and takes less time. I know what you're thinking... but I promise. Making homemade bread is SO simple. that's all.
oh can we get that bread maker back?
