I can't help myself

If you didn't catch American Idol last night, you missed out on some good laughs. This one was definitely one my favorites. Here's what I loved about his audition:

* The judges actually gave him the time of day
* Simon Cowell smiled...and was he laughing at one point? I didn't know the man was capable
* The song is catchy, seriously
* This guy was so genuine! He sang his heart out, and was totally serious
* I love how the judges got all into it (Paula's sign language, Ryan Seacrest joining in one the fun, etc.)

So, yeah--I'm a 15 year old girl and love this show. What can I say...

Awesome. Absolutely awesome. I was actually cracking up at my desk while I watched it. Paula doing sign language - brilliant.

Add me to the 15 year old crowd too - this show cracks me up. Paula was actually funny for this audition instead of her usual stupid - who knew?

Now I will have this song in my head for the day. Thanks a lot Rae!

it's ser hilar - but the best part to me is still the "tribute" at the end to simon. so hilar, i can't control my laughter when i see it. it is even more hilar b/c this guy is so sincere.

i really did have that song in my head for a while after i watched that--- he was a totally nice guy too. my favorite part was simon saying he has a horrible feeling that it was going to be a hit record.

Ok this was so great! I love paula's dancing and boom chick move at the end... I normally don't like the bad singers because I get so worried for their self esteem if they really thing they are that good and get embarrassingly reamed...but this was so genuine. Of course I can't wait for Hollywood! I am so with you and not ashamed.

I hardly ever laugh out loud at 'entertainment': TV, movies, radio, my husband but when I watched this on TV I laughed real hard. I had fun watching it with my husband again while checking out your blog. I'm not ashamed, I love American Idol too!
