People...come on!

Throw me a bone. I leave town for a week, and everybody updates their blogs with Easter pictures: frilly dresses on their daughters, matching vests for their boys and wonderful tales of how the Easter Bunny visited them. I have over 200 unread blog posts in my Google Reader, and I am so behind, I don't know if I'll ever catch up. So, if everyone could stop posting on their blogs for a few weeks, I'd really appreciate it (even the peoples' blogs who I stalk--please just read my mind on this one). The Easter Bunny didn't visit the White House, Cole didn't wear a new outfit to church on Sunday, and neither did Danny or I. Go ahead and judge me why don't you.

Ha ha ha! We skipped Easter, too! I had just gotten out of the hospital the Wednesday before so there was no celebration of Easter for us!

HAHAHA- i'm totally loving the HUGE stop sign. it's hilarious.
Hey, I just wanted to tell you I read a few posts from some of my cousin's blogs yesterday and they totally uplifted me! Especially concerning Easter, one of my cousins talked about how they didn't even mention the Easter bunny, but instead talked about the Savior and told their kids they would get a fun spring basket from their parents. I loved how they left the bunny out of it. Straightforward, to the REAL point, and the kids were still really excited and happy.

Also, my cousin Heather made a post called 'MnM Time' which stands for Mommy and Me time. If you get a chance, click over and read it. Seriously, insant uplift.

And one last one I want to tell you about. Kendall's cousing Logan has a post titled 'Trust the man in the cape'. I am thinking of putting a post on my blog to direct everyone to his so they can read it. He had a brain tumor removed last fall, and this post is an update on what is going on with him. It's hilarious and inspiring.

I know you have a ba-zillion blogs to read, but these two I mentioned above are ones you won't want to miss!

Glad you're back! Looking forward to more pics of sunny California!

I'm totally with you! We didn't do typical Easter either and I was beginning to feel bad about myself when viewing everyone else's entries. Maybe next year when I feel like its more worth it and when I feel like I have money to waste!!! Wait, that might have to wait for more than a year.

Hola Rae! I love your blog, I don't know why I've never commented on it before but there's gotta be a first for everything right? We 'celebrated' Easter in our house for the first time since we've been married and it consisted of; 1 bag each of jelly beans, cadbury mini eggs and reeses eggs. No new outfits for us either. Anyway hope all is well with you - - maybe someday I'll start a blog . . . . . . . . ya know in 10 years . . .
