Americal Idol Top 6

I personally loved Andrew Lloyd Weber night. I am a big fan of musicals and I feel like most of the songs were really well done (minus Jason--sorry dread head fans). I've been saying for a long time that I think David Archuleta and David Cook will battle head to head for the finale, and I'm sticking with that.
Here's my quick recap:
Syesha--she did a great job! She has really stepped up and performed well for the past several weeks. I think Randy was right about her having a career in Broadway. I think she's really well suited for that type of stage.
Jason--At first I really loved the song, but he seemed about as comfortable as a kid sitting on a bed of nails. It got awkward, and I think he'll be in the bottom 3 tonight.
Brooke--I think she's going home tonight. She has a cool voice, but "cool" doesn't get you much better than 6th place in this competition. She just can't compete with the other huge voices.
David A--Other than the 3 or so words that he forgot when the camera was panning behind him--I thought he did awesome! I loved the arrangement, and totally disagree with Simon. I thought the performance was anything but forgettable. The little "fan sign" is really cute too (putting his hand over his heart).
Carly--Love her voice, and she is amazing...I'm just not sure how much longer she'll be on. I don't know if she appeals to enough people, but regardless of that--dang. The girl can belt.
David C--Holy cow. That was so awesome. I don't care if he didn't change the song one little bit. It was nice to see a softer side to him, and I loved when he hit that high note. I think Danny and I have re-watched it about 5 times since last night.
Favorite performances of the night: The Davids. Can't wait for the finale!

I wasn't surprised Brooke stayed (not saying she SHOULD have...I wonder if she did get some sympathy votes though...)

Im sad Carly is gone. I guess there aren't a lot of JC superstar fans out there- even though she sang WELL.

Love that pic of Brooke's face you put up. I really LOVED Carly's voice, but I had to mute that song, I don't know maybe I'm weird. It just felt irreverent to me. I joked to Kendall and told him I thought she would go home because she offended Christians, then we laughed because she did get kicked off! Haha! I'm sure Christians weren't offended...or maybe they were....just kidding!
P.S. I'm sure you caught The Office last night...when Pam nailed Meredith in the head with that football, I almost peed my pants with laughter! Luckily didn't, I've been doing my elevator lifts haha!! (hopefully that was inside enough that people won't know what that means, oh well if it's not!)
