Pink eye is amazing??

So, life throws you curve balls. You almost have to expect the unexpected. I stopped the Archie Countdown Concert because we won't be going to the concert...Cole decided to get pink eye on Wednesday. ('Cause that's how it works, you know? You choose these things). Anyway, we had to cancel our plans to head up to Boise to see our new little niece and the concert. As a mom, it wasn't hard to make the decision. We didn't feel comfortable dropping him off at Gma and Gpa's house with eye drops and a goopy eyed little boy. So, our tickets are up for grabs. Well, we're selling them...
Here's the hilarious thing...(and I SWEAR I'm not exaggerating here). We're at the doctor's office and when the nurse brings us back into the exam room Cole spreads his arms out like Maria in the Sound of Music and does a complete 360 while saying "Wow! This is amazing!" Drama anyone?
As his mother, I knew he was referring to the awesome wall murals of a jungle but I'm sure the nurse was kind of confused. She gave a good belly laugh and said that he was easily impressed. Of course he is--he's three. Oh and we don't get out much. heh.

i just have to tell you, after i got your email about it....my right eye started to hurt. (its the eye with the hard contact, the left i wear a soft! anyway...) so that whole night i was convinced i was getting pink eye too!!! i kept having vic look at(not touch)it!
but, being the smart person that i am, i told myself (over & over again) that my mind was just trying to trick me! (my right eye hurts almost every night!)
& i'm sure that me "playing with it" was the cause of the watering....yes, i looked up the symptoms :)
