That's right. We've been married for five years. And we still LOVE each other. Imagine that! People actually do stay together! I found this little gem in my journal:
I know I've posted a bunch of posed wedding pictures on here in the past, but our family members captured some great candid moments with their personal cameras that I wanted to share. Five years down, eternity to go. I can't wait.
Note the look on my face when he is feeding me the cake. Here's what I'm thinking "So help me if you shove the cake into my face..." He was a gentleman though. Good boy.
"I love being married to Danny. He is so wonderful. I am so
lucky. I definitely made the right choice. My life changed forever
on April 7th of this year (2004). It was the perfect day. I felt so
calm, and comfortable at the temple, and it was really neat because Danny’s
mission President was the one who sealed us. When we walked into the
sealing room and everyone was in there waiting for us, my heart was flooded with
emotion. I don’t know that I’ve ever felt such joy. Seeing our
friends and family, was so overwhelming…and the ceremony towards the end was
very emotional for me."
