Cornbellys
Tuesday Cole went on his very first school field trip. They went with all the preschool kids and the Discovery Kindergarten kids (the in-between preschool and kindergarten class). There was a great turnout, the weather was a bit chilly at first but perfect by the time we left.
They had SO much fun. I was so glad I got to be there and take pictures. Cornbellys is at Thanksgiving Point and I HIGHLY recommend it. I had so much fun and we only did like 4 things...there was so much to do and you could have easily stayed a couple more hours. Lots of photo-ops, too. I seriously want to go again. Cole and his class had a great time.
They went on a tractor ride. The driver told the kids not to sit on their knees and face out of the truck, but as soon as the tractor started--they were ALL over the place. I can't really blame them...
They had slides...those were a big hit.
Especially because there was frost on them so they were cruising!

The entrance. Even just looking at it makes me want to go back.
One of the many imagination stations. A fantastic farmer's market.
They played an electronic chicken skit with these chickens that sang and talked to the kids.
It was so cute. They got a kick out of it.

Just look at their faces...
The girl with the beautiful curly hair by Cole was laughing HYSTERICALLY it was way funnier than the chickens.
They had a great turnout.
Running around in dried up corn. They remind me of the plastic balls I used to run around in at McDonald's as a kid.
This REALLY cracked me up. This is one of the sweetest girls I know. Her name is Wendy and she's such a good little girl. I told Cole to put his arm around her for a picture and I'm so glad my camera was ready because he just grabbed her and kissed her! Not what I asked him to do--but still cute.
Then he just kept his arm around her like he was protecting her or something. He was so casual about it--I couldn't help but smile.
We ended the morning with pumpkin cookies and hot chocolate. Each of the kids also got to pick out their own little pumpkin from the big pumpkin patch. So, if any of you haven't heard of this place (I hadn't) it's definitely worth checking out. I know it's a bit pricey but you could spend hours there...plus you get a discount if you get a big group together. Luckily we got in free. Ah, how I love that word :)
