My version...

This in no way can be compared to the original cake--but it was a pretty good effort on my part.  I have to admit that I asked Danny for help (even though I could tell he secretly wanted to do it) to help dip the strawberries because I was busy making father's day cards.  Fine, he also frosted the outside of the cake.  But I did the rest.  Made it from scratch and all that.  I do have to say that it ROCKED.  I really liked it.  He is so funny...he tries to make it look like he doesn't want to jump in to "save" the cake but he can't hide it very well.

Isn't it pretty?

I wanted to do a 4 layer cake, but we didn't have our cake leveler to divide each layer into 2.  Dah well.

Also, I forgot white chocolate for drizzling over the milk chocolate covered strawberries

Either way, it got eaten. :)
