Goodbye February...Hello March

I am not ONE tiny bit sad to say goodbye to Feb.  Not even for a second.  Valentines was fun and all and I threw a fun couple's party to celebrate but I am so done with Winter.  March feels so much more springy to me, even if the weather is horrible--I think it's partially a mental thing.  Ok, have I established that I am so glad tomorrow is March 1st? Okay, good.

I have been MIA in blog-land for a while and it's not for lack of having anything interesting to say, I just haven't taken the time.  Let's see if I can sum up what Jan. and Feb. looked like at our White House:

JANUARY

Our inherited fish dies and then seriously comes back to life.  Dang thing won't die.

I am in pre-midlife crisis.  I chop all my hair off and love it.

Cole starts teaching the discussions in the foyer of our Church building.  Seriously.
This one needs to be large.

FEBRUARY

Cole still dresses up as a Pirate (from his Halloween costume over a year ago) and wears the hat funny.

Cole earns a personal pan pizza from Pizza Hut for reading all the month of January.  We combine it with an Iron Man party that we made up to him because we didn't let him go to an Iron Man birthday-themed party and it literally BROKE his heart...and the guilt killed us.

We add a new family member

Cole and I play hospital and I wrap his leg up nicely so that he can rest his head on the Book of Mormon.  Osmosis...it's all about osmosis.

We celebrate a wonderful Valentines Day.  One of my very favorite days of the year.

We adopt twins and thank the Heavens above for a good tax return because after 7 years of marriage of no washer and dryer, we deserved one, dangit.

I cut my hair a little shorter and go a lot more blonde...and I LOVE IT.

Cole has some fun with our camera

I blog this all up and call it a day...got some laundry to do in our new babies!!

Love the new hair! I just did the exact same thing! I cut 15 inches off in Feb. 10th. Big move and I love it.
Cole is so cute, I love the "discussion picture."
