So, I'm only slightly behind on blogging. No biggie.
Nothing major has happened. I have millions of things to blog about. Instead, I'll write about what's on my mind in this moment. So far the weekend has been super low key which has been kind of nice. I love knowing that Monday is MLK day and Danny doesn't have to work. It makes Saturday seem less stressful knowing we don't have to cram in everything into one day. Mormons all know that Sunday isn't as much of a day as "rest" as it maybe could be.
Last night Cole was invited to sleep over at Nate's and Doug and Eva took Caleb so that Danny and I could go on a real date. It's so rare these days to really sneak away just the two of us and it was awesome. We used a GC to Applebees for dinner and then did a session at the Jordan River Temple. We had heard so many comments about the changes that have been made to the endowment but haven't been since I was 6 months pregnant. It was awesome. Danny and I had a great discussion afterwards about some insights we had. I love the changes. It was inspiring and I can't wait to go back. We don't have enough pictures together but here is one from December that I like.

Today has been spent piddling around the house working on some things, a bit of cleaning, relaxing and then we hit up McDonalds for dinner so that Cole could run off some excess energy in the Playzone. It's not my ideal dinner option but Cole needed to seriously run around and McDonalds was cheaper than taking him to Boondocks or Classic {which would have been inundated with angsty teens anyway}.
Caleb is coming up on 4 months. Excuse me? He is smiling, laughing and gets really angry if you aren't on time with his meals. We are obsessed with him. He is so good natured and snuggly. I couldn't ask for a better baby.
Cole has been keeping busy now that he's back in school and cub scouts. We survived 5 weeks of being off track in the winter! It was a long 5 weeks but we did it. Phew! We have made some new friends in the ward which has been nice. I'm not gonna lie though. Most days were spent running errands {before Christmas}, at home sick or just chillin' in our PJ's.

I miss the therapy that blogging gives me. I also think it's a great way to look back over the past and see how blessed I am when things are tough. I have been really struggling lately even though I know I have much to be happy about. Here's to getting more posts up on ye 'ol blog!
