I'm feeling pretty good right now...I've got a fall scented candle lit, and am absolutely loving the smell--Cranberry Muffin. It's very "fally". I also just got back from Wal-Mart and got some fun things for Cole's birthday, and for his little birthday party this Saturday. I have a tendency to go a little overboard for special occasions (birthdays, Christmas, anniversaries, etc.) So this probably won't be an exception. Now that I have a child of my own, I'm finding it difficult to not get him EVERY single thing that I think he would love to play with or own. But--then I look at our credit union statement, and reality hits me. Dahh well--kids in Honduras play with dirt clods and rocks and they're happy!

I also just picked up my book club book of the month "Rebecca" by Daphne Du Maurier. Maybe I'll be 100 pages in by the end of the month if I'm lucky! I put it on hold at the library a month ago--and it just barely became available. Anyone read it? Comments?

Last but not least--The Office Season 4 starts in five days. Five. I always get nervous for season premiers because I'm afraid I'll be disappointed--like will Jim and Pam be dating when the show begins? Or will Jim have gone back to Karen? Ack. I can't stand the suspense. I'm glad I think these are real people--and get so wrapped up in their lives...I better get reading.

First of all, fall is my favorite. I have been trying to restrain myself from putting on the fall table cloth and busting out the pumpkin decorations I have. But that is now over. Since you have your cranberry candle going, I'm saying that officially gives me permission to be fallish too! Thanks!
Secondly, I'm extremely jealous that you have a book club. There isn't one here (just scrapbooking....) so I really think I'm going to try and start one myself. Any suggestions for a good book that is non-offensive? I don't think I'm too good at this sort of thing because I seem to think things are okay in books, and then recommend one to a friend and they end up mentioning some thing that I later realize was not what they considered "appropriate." lol.
Anyway, tell me what you think!

Yay! I really hate the cold weather but I love all the Hot Cocoa and warm sweaters and warm blankets and warm socks and slippers...etc. I guess I love the idea of fall but not the actual weather in fall! You watch tv like me...I think the characters are real people! Ha ha!

I love fall too. I loved the book Rebecca. You have to keep reading. You will get to the "point of no return" and you won't be able to put it down. I love your blog. Someday I will do that too...some day!!
