Are you KIDDING Me???

I just got an email from a very intelligent person. Seriously--this person is smart. They just forwarded me a "real" message about a beta program with Microsoft and AOL. Uh-huh. Blah blah blah, I'm going to get a big fat check if I forward it to everyone in my address book. It's 2008 and people are STILL sending these? Sorry--but if you haven't gotten the memo...these are fake.

I have gotten that exact same forward three diff times over a couple of years from one friend. I forwarded it once...still waiting for my check...

Forwarding those just perpetuates spam email and viruses. That is how the folks who do this harvest email addresses. I can't believe there are still people that forward that stuff.
