Beatles Week
Along with pictures from last week, my very opinionated, unbiased and very valuable opinions are as follows:Carly--Wow. At first I felt like "Blackbird" was being sung too forcefully and that she needed to lighten up her voice, but in the end I really liked it. Easy on the "7" tat on her finger though. She's hardcore :)
Chikezie: His song wasn't as good as last week, and I didn't love the harmonica, but it was actually kind of funny to me. Of course Simon was ridiculously rude about it--but that's pretty normal for Simon. He is very black/white about everything.David A: I have to admit that I am a TOTAL nerd. I seriously got nervous right before he started to sing. It's not that I think he can't handle the pressure, and that he'll flop, I was just nervous because I want him to do well so badly. It's all his fault that I'm as absurdly addicted I am to American Idol this season. He knocked it out of the ballpark. Woot!

Michael: I still like him. I think it was one of his weaker performances, but he can get away with a few bad weeks. Let's not forget the power of an auzzie accent. Oh, and his voice...yeah.

Ramiele: She acted cheesy and forced to me. She is definitely more suited for ballads--even if she does bore the LIFE out of everyone whilst singing them. ZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzz

Syesha: Her best week by far. I'm still not convinced she doesn't deserve to be in the bottom 3 though. It's hard this season--because she's up against insane competition. Now maybe if she had been on LAST year...Also, she is epidomy of MEH.
Jason: He somehow makes dreads cool. I agree that he is charming--but that he is also kind of vulnerable and awkward without his guitar. I kept waiting for Simon to attack him as being
"cheesy" but I'm glad he didn't. I'm a Jason fan. I'm still waiting for someone to agree with me about him being pretty. :)
Ryan: Ha! Fine, so he's not a contestant--but does anybody else think he is actually getting more funny?
David C: A teensy bit predictable this week--but he's not going anywhere. He brings out my rocker side...and that's what I like about him. There is such a difference between him and Amanda. I don't want to stab my eardrums when I hear HIM sing. He is in my favorite top 3.
Brooke: Please--she's adorable. So likable and dangit her hair always looks great :) I did think the whole yellow dress & happy sunshineyness (yes, a word) was a LITTLE over the top.
It doesn't really matter though--she has such a cool texture to her voice and she can admit when she deserves a bit of criticism.Kristy Lee: I think Kristy is genuinely sweet in her interviews and stuff--but when it comes to singing in a competition--goodbye already. Honestly--if "8 days a week" wasn't enough to get her sent home, this week sealed the deal. Peace out.
Speaking of peace out--Amanda: Two words: Adams Family. She scares me. She won't attempt a "boring ballad" and she yells into the microphone. Can you imagine her in a bad mood? If she sings like this when she's happy--watch your back if she's ticked. Oh, and I hope she knows the only reason she is still in the competition is because she is the lucky recipient of all the voters from www.votefortheworst.com.

p.s. LOVE having mutual at a different time than 7:00 on tuesday night. dear president monson...
I was a little embarrassed for Brooke, but I guess it's her first oops, so she is forgiven.
Can't wait for the results tonight! See ya Kristy! (Hopefully)
David Archuleta is in my ward here in Murray. He's a really cool kid. I kinda hope he wins, just because heaven knows America could use some good idols to look up to that aren't slease bags. There's my 2 cents.
