Some Cool Photoscape Features

My blog has become the epitome of boring lately--so I wanted to add some cute pictures of Cole to let you know what he's been up to lately. I edited them with Photoscape and wanted each of them to be pretty different. Here are some fun samples of what I came up with.

My friend Val got these pajamas for Cole several years ago. She got them for an insane price at a Pottery Barn Tent sale while she lived in Logan. The pajamas have his name on them which makes it so fun. That is why they were worth holding on to for 2 years before he could fit into them :) Here is the same picture using an antiquing feature.

Cole was playing with a lamp shade that was headed for the trash. It's so funny how a simple lamp shade can go from a very stylish hat to a boat within a matter of seconds. I used some vignetting on this photo and I changed the back lighting a bit.

This is Cole's fake smile. It's the one he gives us when we say "show me your teeth!"

Um, I seriously don't remember exactly what I did on this one. I know I was just pushing buttons all over the place and changing some color balances.
This just goes to show you that you don't have to have ANY skills to make photos look sweet. I seriously just play around and try things. If I don't like the way they look--I "undo" it. If I like it, I've obviously learned something new. The problem is remembering how to do an effect that I really liked. Anyway--if nothing else, Cole is cute :)

I love photoscape too and have a fun time just trying all the different feartures. I love the one that makes the picture look like it was drawn with a pen.

Cole is SO darling..

and what happened to your labels? I wanted your banana bread recipe and had to do a search on my email to find when I commented. Oh the pain!

Can't wait to use your recipe again...
no comment = hatred? Sheesh that's harsh!! Did you put that in your comment box? I've never noticed it before.

Anywho, I downloaded photoscape a week or two ago, and I love it too, but it is taking me a long time to figure it out! How do you put text in the picture? Sad story, I was playing on photoscape when Phoenix fell off my bed :(. Haven't been back on since, it was so traumatic! Photoscape is just another thing on my list that I want to spend time doing, *sigh*, my list is quite long these days.
how do you not melt every 2 seconds living with THAT child? good job on the photoscaping. Although any pic of Cole is a good one. and those pj's are PERFECT!

He is so cute. Good thing he doesn't live at my house, I would let him get into anything he wanted with those dimples and bright blue eyes.
