Why Didn't They Tell Me Part 5

Well I got some flack last week about posting a picture that wasn't really that gross...so I'm hoping this one will make up for that. But it isn't just me--this picture is a classic for so many reasons. We were at the airport to either pick up (or drop off, I can't remember) my oldest brother Nate from his mission.

~ The backstory behind the kid in the wheelchair is this: That is my brother Willie. I don't remember at what point this happened, but he got stung by a bee. He was so agitated by it that he felt the need to use a wheelchair. He wasn't even allergic to it, so we all teased him (and still do) for wanting to use a wheelchair over a bee sting. We're nice siblings, huh?

~ I have to point out the MASSIVE recorder on Scott's shoulder. I had forgotten how huge those things were. We had some GOOD summers with that thing.

~ Finally, these are what I call the "lips bangs". The split bangs with half of the hair curled up, half of the hair curled down. I think I was in 9th grade? Gosh, I'm not sure...but those were hot at that time. Or as we savvy 2008ers say, they were "sik".

I admit it - I had lip bangs... well it was more like lip-tongue-lip bangs (3 layers, one curled down and the other two curled up then brush to perfection :)

I also had the lip bangs...loved em...and hope they come back one day Ü. I have noticed a common theme in these pictures. Shorts with sweaters must have been your thing. I must also add that my husband is hot!! Go Jazz!
I wish you would have photo cropped me out of this one. I look like a fairy...a brightly colored jacket with short shorts. You've got to love the 90's. Thanks RAE brings back alot of funny memories.

Come on, seriously. Who DIDN'T have those bangs. And I thought they looked cool WAAAAY past their "in" stage! If not for a determined hairstylist/friend who convinced me to live in the now, I might still look like that!

You forgot to point out that you are wearing a sweatshirt with shorts again. What is it with you? The bangs are classic.. and that video camera is a monster. I think Val still uses hers, though.

the reason I was in the wheel chair is because I stepped on the bee that stung me. Making my ability to walk, hindered.
