My One Resolution: Balance

Every year (with zero exceptions) I made a huge long list of things I have resolved to improve in the coming year. This year will be different. I have one resolution: to find balance in my life. That is a huge task--but if I have more balance January 1, 2010 then I will be in a better place than I am right now. I will officially be breaking all rules of setting goals. At this point, I don't have it broken down into smaller, more achievable goals. It's in the works. All I know is this: if I haven't achieved even a little bit of balance in my life by this time next year--you might see mean RaeLynn. I try to keep her locked up, but she gets out every once in a while. My first attempts at balance might look similar to this Yoga beginner, but hopefully at SOME point in my life, I will reach a place where I can comfortably feel like I'm not living in complete chaos.

And if you ever think I'll be able to achieve this: think again my friends.

I have a recommendation for you! I just finished Confessions Of An Unbalanced Woman -by Emily Watts . I got it at Deseret Book and loved it! I love all the Time Out For Women books and the Time Out for Women DVD is awesome! If you haven’t seen it you’ll have to check it out. Happy New Year!

Just a thought. I have found very little success in efforts to change myself by focusing on myself. Possibly the key to refinement is turning our attention outwards. Then we grow.

Great goal. It's kind of all inclusive.
That pose on the bottom is amazing. I think you can do it though.
