Where a kid can be a kid

This picture makes me smile/laugh my head off. It depends on what mood I'm in. But it's very appropriate for our new blog colors and it also cracks me up for 2 reasons.

1. The other boy in the picture {whose ear is showing} was freaked out by Cole's meltdown and was trying to get OUT of the booth.
2. This is supposed to be one of those "this is the best day of my life" pictures at Chuck E. Cheese's. Not even close. We had to force him into the picture booth and he looked like he was in sheer terror. We are probably scarring him for life. But really--how can you look at this and not smile?

Now I say this with all due respect because you know I think Cole is a very cute kid. But in this particular picture I think he kind of has a Bat Boy look going: http://bit.ly/rk6w

hahahahaha. so many funny things about the picture- most of all the other kid being freaked out by it. it reminds me of when noah was SCREAMING in the car on the way home from portland that one time, and cole was covering his ears and then covering his head with his blanket.

That is exactly how I feel at Chuck-e-cheese! Seriously, it's like $20 for the crappiest pizza and it is so dang loud! We told my 6 year old that there are no Chuck-e-cheeses in Pennsylvania, and we have to drive the long way sometimes to avoid driving by one so she won't see!

That is REALLY funny. I can't stop laughing. I'm so sorry, but like you said, how can I not look at it and smile? What was it specifically that freaked him out?
