Well bust my buttons
I find it very appropriate that on the day of LOVE, I was shown some serious love from my friend Kristen. She has passed on an award of the highest degree...it's a blogging award. You wouldn't understand. This award is the equivalent to an Oscar for a serious actor. This is big, people. I don't want to brag and you know I hate talking about myself, but...
The rules go as follows:
1. Choose a minimum of 7 blogs that you find brilliant in content or design;
2. Show the 7 winners names and links on your blog, and leave a comment informing them that they were prized with "Honest Scrap." Well, there's no prize, but they can keep the nifty icon
3. List at least 10 honest things about yourself.

In no particular order:
1. We Judge Idol--I'm not sure who the brilliant couple is that runs this website but it is the best thing since peanut butter & chocolate. It's clever, moving and informative. My heart is fluttering just thinking about it.
2. Bateman Blogger--Val has serious photography skills and her blog is always great eye candy. She also somehow always makes her life look like a fairy tale. Val--please list at least 10 of your trials in the comments below. Thanks.
3. Bandwagon Blogger--Sorry folks, this one's private so I'm not sure why I'm putting a link to it. BUT, My sister-in-law Kambree needs to know how awesome her blog is. She is kind of a quiet person but when you read her blog you get to peek into her brain...and she is hilarious, articulate and REALLY in love with her family.
4. Great Times--Oh how I love Tristie. She is creative, spunky and so down to earth. I think everybody thinks that THEY are BFF with her, but I know the truth. I know that I am her favorite. My favorite thing about reading her blog recently is how she is totally making changes in her life to simplify. This is a big deal to me. I hope I can follow in her footsteps in this regard!
5. Write in My Journal-- It's quite a simple concept, really. My friend David {not Archuleta--he's too busy to blog} has like 10,000 blogs and I think this one is my favorite. He meets random people wherever he goes and asks them to write in his journal. He snags a picture of them and posts about it. It's really fun to read and we ALL know there are some really interesting people out there.
6. Becky's Blog--Sorry to copy you Kristen, but I couldn't resist this one. I have suddenly become obsessed with Becky Higgins. I like to pretend like we are really good friends. She calls me at least once a week and I give her ideas for Creating Keepsakes magazine and other token projects. All kidding aside, this woman is a genius. How do people possess so much creative energy? I want some.
7. That's So Sweet--This might seem totally selfish of me to brag about my husband, but I also brag about myself so obviously I don't care. Danny finds the most hilarious videos and compiles them all onto this blog. He used to work for Google and would come across the COOLEST slash most HILARIOUS videos and that is how it started. If you need a laugh, check it out. Danny loves to laugh and that is one reason why I love HIM.
10 Honest Things about Myself. {Dang, I love to lie!}
1. I think I share too much on my blog but I can't stop blabbing.
2. I am coming VERY close to becoming a vegetarian.
3. I've decided that I'm actually pretty hot when I'm in shape.
4. Speaking of hot--I'm pretty hot and cold when it comes to interests. I either obsess about things or don't really care for it.
5. I just erased what I typed for this one because I don't think I want to talk about it on the family blog just yet. Nope, we're not pregnant.
6. People don't believe that I was shy when I was younger, but I was. It was painful. I was afraid of talking to my "superiors" and I had zero confidence.
7. I didn't always want to serve a mission but it got to a point where I knew if I didn't go, I would always regret it. I'm glad I listened to the Spirit. My life has changed forever.
8. I am so impatient. Just today at IKEA I wanted to punch an old lady because she was so slow and between her and the cashier we ended up waiting in line for what seemed like an eternity just to buy one little thing.
9. I have major guilt about everything I do that's evil. (See # 8)
10. I tell Danny everything. Seriously--E-V-E-R-Y-T-H-I-N-G.
Thanks again Kristen, this was fun. And, I'm extremely flattered :)

*applause and uproaring cheering*
I hate word verification. It's my blogging nemesis.
Write in my Journal - awesome idea for a blog. It's been such an interesting read. And your Idol blog is great too. I missed most of the episodes so thanks for the catch up.
And #8 is hilarious. I don't think it's evil unless you follow through. Even then....
