Cool Things
FYI, my blog is jacked up and won't let me post pictures side by side. Phew, not that that's out of the way, I can feel the stress melting away. Here are my latest loves:
1. Google Maps. I figured out how to create a map of my neighborhood and create a workout routine while measuring the distance. This particular map is a 3 mile workout. I've SWORN to some friends that I'll do a 5K this September so I've got plenty of time to train. This is the coolest thing since the wheel. You can tell exactly how far you will have gone and you can always go in and edit it. I have several maps that I've created for different distances and I'm going to make one for Danny so if he needs a break at work, he'll know where to walk to get in a half or full mile. Pretty cool stuff.

This next thing has suddenly become one of my favorite quotes. I'd heard it before but it has a new meaning to me now. It makes me feel better about all the things we go through in this life that we are pretty sure are unnecessary. Looks like they ARE and that we'll be glad we endured to the end once all is said and done.

and FYI- it's May now and (GASP!) your header isn't updated. I am only telling you this because my seven year old wakes me up at 6 am on the first day of the month and asks me WHEN I am going to flip the calendar...
