Still on the lookout


A bunch of people have asked me if I'm still looking for a babysitting/nanny job and I am. It's tricky to find a family that is in the south end of the valley, who needs someone longer than the summer, who is OK with me bringing Cole along and who wants to pay a normal wage. One family with 6 kids wanted to pay $8/hr for SIX kids. That's not normal is it?? Especially when two of them are under the age of 2?

Anyway, so I'm still looking :)

Mine turns out to be $1.55 per kid per hour.

I am getting $2.50 an hour per kid. And the year before I was getting $3.00. I have heard of people doing a certain amount per day per child...depending on the situation...that is the way that I would go.

I get paid WAAAAAAY more to be a nurse...and being a mom is WAAAAAAY harder than being a nurse. Nope. $8 an hour just won't do. Especially if you really are like Mary Poppins, maybe they would raise the price if you show them your magic bag? Try singing a "spoonful of sugar" next time.
