Tulip Festival
For a playgroup a couple weeks ago, we went to the Tulip Festival at Thanksgiving Point and had a great time. The weather was superb and we were in good company! Thanks Jessica for getting us the 50% discount! Yay for friends that will hook you up :)
I've come to terms with the fact that may never be the "perfect" picture taker. Meaning, as a mother I have all these hopes of getting these adorable pictures of him sitting contently in the flowers with a perfect pose or sitting with some friends on a bench with a big natural smile. Nope. I think I've just had to learn that Cole is who he is. I can't change him and he doesn't want to be changed. I do admire that he is a leader and doesn't just follow the crowd but when he is running off and putting himself in danger, I lose my cool. HEH. Anyway, despite all that, it was a gorgeous day and we had a good time enjoying the tulips. It really was a good experience. Probably not worth the full price (ok, totally not worth the full price) but it was definitely worth half price!
