Swimming Lessons

After a scary experience at the pool last summer, I decided that Cole needed swimming lessons. It was very affordable and it's really convenient. The kids' teacher, Arrion, comes to US. It's great :) The kids come every week to our neighborhood pool and she is so patient and good with them. I don't think I could ever teach swimming lessons to kids (or adults for that matter, heh). Cole has had a roller coaster of emotions with lessons. At first he was terrified, then he got much better and was a little too brave and after falling in the water with ME one day, he is back to being really cautious...even panicky at times. But Arrion does a great job with all the kids and I've been REALLY happy with our decision to do this.

One of the first lessons where they're learning how to get comfortable splashing in the water.

Cole letting loose. Isn't his face just priceless?

Arrion has all these fun games that the kids play. This one was aimed at getting their hands "stuck together" so that she could easily pull them around the pool on their stomachs.

Proof that Cole has his bad days :)
