The Annual Miller Fish Pond

Every year my Mom plans a "Fish Pond" for the Grandkids which involves the kids throwing a fishing pole over the stairs and reeling in some fun little treats/toys.  It's a costume party, and well--only 2 adults dressed up.  Me and Kam.  We win.  We enjoy homemade broccoli/potato/cheese soup in bread bowls.  We watch the kids run around in their costumes for 20 minutes before tearing them off so that they can get down and dirty.  By the way--Amanda shouldn't have sharp objects in her hand...but this was a special occasion :)

Great food, good company and hilariousness all around.

I wasn't going to dress up as anything--I just wanted an excuse to do some crazy things like color my hair and put on fake lashes but once I saw how rad they were [the lashes] I figured I might as well go all out crazy and look like Lady Gaga.  I wouldn't do it again though, because I think she's skanky.

I've never seen this before--but it was slightly disturbing...

And my favorite picture of night.  These two are close in age and we used to live in the same apartment complex so they spent a lot of time together fighting (heh) they were very young and still learning to share so it makes us so happy to see them getting along and smiling so genuinely.  They have become good little buddies and I love it!
