Archuawesome

It all happened so fast! It's over now and I am in denial. Now I have nothing to look forward to. Ever.  In my whole life.  I mean, I don't want to be dramatic or anything--but I'm not sure there's anything worth living for.

By the way--seeing David on TV or YouTube is cool and all, but there is NOTHING like hearing him live.  It's like hearing the Mormon Tabernacle Choir on TV and you think it sounds amazing but then you hear them sing in the Conference Center and it blows you away.  That's the effect of hearing him live.

The concert was fantastic! It was the perfect mixture of fun and sentimental.  There was pop and there was Christmas.  I loved it.  I need to mention that Danny really liked it too--he's just not into blogging lately and gave me permission to say that he loved it too.  If you think he's not a huge fan, you're wrong. He listens to DA on his own free will.  In the car.  On his iPod.  So take that.

ANYwho, we had so much fun.  It wasn't just a great concert but it was great to just spend some time with Danny and be downtown.  I love downtown during November/December because we went on a lot of dates there while we were dating.  That sounds obvious.  Dates while we were dating. Duh.  Anyway, I love this time of year and I've never been to Abravanel Hall! It was so festive and it was nice to be at a real concert hall.  A place made with acoustics in mind...and not the E-Center with hard plastic seats and no leg room.

We were a little dorky while waiting for Trax. I was ridiculously excited.
I'll even share this gross picture of me to show it.

I had to show Danny that I loved him more than Archie

This is what happens when you let other people take pictures of you.  You end up with the tops of sculptures chopped off.  Really? How hard is it?

Some moron basically posed in OUR picture.  I blurred his face but it's still noticeable.
What a nerd.

We sat on the 15th row.  Not too shabby :)

The stage was gorgeous.  It was a fun little transformation after the "pop" portion of his concert.  Then they busted out the orchestra, a harp, the snow trees and he was lookin' sharp in a black suit.

Here's Zero Gravity.  My favorite jump around song ever.  The video is jiggly because it's hard to film up close when you're 15 rows away and there's a crazy blond lady next to you who's moshing. (That lady being me).

There are a few more videos that are in the process of uploading. I'll be adding them shortly.

David sings a duet on his Christmas CD so when he announced he was going to sing that song he announced it as a song that was "sung as a duet on the album".  So he starts to sing and his cute mom Lupe came out on stage to accompany him.  Could she be any cuter? For the love...

This is taken before the memory card got full and cut off half the song...

The rest of the song.

Fun! So I'm not very technically savvy. How do you do all the fancy things in pictures such as blur out people and write on pics?

First of all, you look great in your pics! I love your hair and your blue shirt! I think the excited pic is adorable because I can just picture you that excited lol! My Mom gave me the David Archuleta Christmas c.d. and I have to admit it's pretty darn good. (But I have to ask...um what is up with Lupe's hair?)

LOL, never mind, it's another person behind her head. For some reason it looked like she had some sort of crazy beehive. Just ignore the fact that I'm dumb please.

I agree that you look great in all the pictures...but why wouldn't you? Abravanel Hall is an awesome place for a concert like that. I saw Donny there a while ago and it was pure bliss. I'm so glad you had a good time.
