Yesterday was a good day. We got to sleep in by about 45 minutes (thanks to our alarm clock named Cole who decided to sleep in). We went to my parents' house and got the place all cleaned up. We moved out the last few things that we had there, cleaned all the rooms we occupied, vacuumed and called it good. My Dad took Cole up to see his Layton cousins while Danny and I came home and got ready to go see a complimentary viewing of The Three Musketeers at Hale Center Theater (thanks for the tickets Courtney). We paid $2 for a delicious and messy lunch at Schlotzky's Deli (Gift Card plus a coupon equals awesome deal). We met Danny's brother and his date at the theater for the play. It was great. Long, but good.
We used a coupon to Baskin Robbins afterwards and spent less than $4 on some dessert. So the total cost for an entire afternoon/early evening date was less than $6.00! Saweeeeeeeeeet.
We got home around the same time Papa and Cole did and then we did the unthinkable. We did some more unpacking. We spent the next hour and a half organizing, folding laundry and putting more stuff away. It felt SOOO GOOD to get more stuff done. Little by little we are getting this place in shape!
Since we don't have a dresser we have piles of clothes folded in baskets and then some clothes in a craft bin with some drawers. It's actually kind of ridiculous. I think we'll have to hit some yard sales this Saturday.
Once 10:30 hit we seriously felt like it was 2:00 AM. We were EXHAUSTED. But it was a good kind of exhausted because you got so much done and still had time to play. Those kinds of Saturdays are the best.
Big gulps huh? Welp, See ya later!
