Days of Change-- Day 1

How many of you thought I was going to give up on this challenge? Go ahead, fess up.  Well, ta-da! I haven't.  I'm just a tad late.  No biggie.  Here was my project for day 1.

The story (there's no before picture)

Cole has a TON of craft/coloring/drawing stuff.  My plan is to get the office to a place that we can create a little space in here just for him.  "Cole's Corner".  I've got it all set up. Cute, eh? So anywho--he has a ton of stuff and doesn't have room in his bedroom for toys, his little IKEA table and all his craft stuff...so the LEAST I could do was organize it and label it all so he didn't have any excuses for just stashing things randomly in different drawers.  He seems to really enjoy having it all organized and has kept it all the way it should be :) I do want to mention that I used stuff I already had.  I didn't even go out and buy anything for this project.  So, things are mismatched and it's nothing worthy of a cute DIY blog, but it works for me.  So, here you go :)

I stapled a zip-lock with the "special" markers to the Crayola coloring book because they always get mixed in with the other markers and then it's just  pain to find what you need.

Put it all nicely in this container from IKEA (which bugs me because I need to use some Goo Gone to get the stubborn sticker off).

Oh and by the way, there is so much more to organize but this was my start :)

I LOVE organization!!! I believe everything should have a home and a place for that home!!!

RaeLynn, you can use some clear packing tape--just press it down completely over that label and then tear up. Sometimes it all comes up the first time, but if not, keep doing it over and over. It takes it off clean so there's no sticky stuff left behind!
