Yep, this is happening.

It's kind of hard to believe that when I was on my mission, the thought of a temple in Honduras seemed like a fantasy. People were saving up for years and years (some for most of their lives) to attend the temple in Guatemala. Then they'd ride a stinky, rickety old bus for a day or two to Guat and do session after session after session. I feel accomplished if I make it once a month. That's a bit pathetic. Actually, a lot pathetic.

This temple is a long time coming and it brings me joy to see it complete. Oh, how I'd love to hop on a plane with some mission buddies (or anyone, heh) and go to the Open House. I'm so happy for the good people of Honduras. They have been praying for this for many, many years. It's been fun to see and feel of their excitement on Facebook about watching the temple be built. Now forgive me as I indulge for a moment:

Wow this temple is gorgeous. Simply beautiful.
I'm so proud of you and Danny. Keep it up. It sounds awful and hard what you are going thru but your head is in the right place and you seem to have a good perspective about it all. Gotta get me some chia seeds. Where do I find them? And what do they do exactly? I hear a lot about them.
