Thanksgiving

This year we had Thanksgiving with the Whites and there are so many of us now that we meet at Grandma and Granddad's church in Sugar House for dinner. We sure know how to put together a feast. It was great having Brad and McCall in town too. We don't see them nearly enough and I swear I'm sick everytime they're down from Idaho.

We have theeee best recipe for sweet potatoes. So naturally that's what we were in charge of. And a cream pie.

Love McCall's faces here

Sadly, my favorite part of Thanksgiving was not well documented. I got to play volleyball for over an hour. I was a little sore the next day but not nearly as bad as I thought I would be. It was glorious. I used to be pretty good at volleyball and I seemed to pick it up pretty well considering the fact that I haven't played in probably 6 years. It felt so good to play and practice my over-hand serving {I even had a few choice blocks up at the net}. I wish I could play more.

Then we did the annual talent show. We are usually duds when it comes to the talent show and I'm not sure why. It just sneaks up on us. I've been focused on the baby and he was still feeling under the weather and Danny was busy with work so it didn't really happen. Cole always says he wants to do a somersault? Seriously, every single year. Everybody else put on a great show and one of the talents was handing out kazoos to everyone to hum/blow a little Christmas tune for everyone to join in on. I stood up and led the kazoo choir for my talent.

We had some good visiting and left that night very thankful for family and each holiday we get to spend with Grandma and Granddad Anderson.
