Cub Country
Cole got to go up to Cub Country this year and he had a blast. He wasn't sure what to expect but we assured him it would be a really fun time and that he would enjoy it. The first day of the day camp, Cole rode up with some guy who I didn't even recognize from our ward who played a PG-13 movie in the car for all the 8-year old boys. I was not happy about it but I didn't feel comfortable saying anything to him because I didn't even know him. It was an awkward situation.
I was one of the drivers on Day 2 and Cole was so cute about it. He brought books for all the boys to read and even though I didn't think they'd want to read on the way up, they actually did. At least for most of the drive.
I didn't know what I was getting into :) I didn't realize that the people running the show were just kids themselves. All the special skits were done by 14 year old, awkward boys. It was pretty entertaining/weird. I just hope I never get called into the scouting program because that would really shake my testimony.

During lunch we worked on the Duty to God award while talking over the shouting boys. Being in the mountains is so exciting that you just need to scream about it. All. Day. Long.
| At least Cole enjoyed the skits. |

| The last pic before my battery died. I was so bummed to not get a better pic of this. |
