Visiting with Jen
Sometimes you just need to be ridiculous. And silly. And loud.
Jen was in town in July and we were able to meet up and spend some good, quality time in her parents' gorgeous backyard. I'm so sad that Rachael had to leave before things got really goofy and we started taking pictures. We probably took 20 photos before getting a decent one. I have to include some of the outtakes because they are so awesome and they make me laugh. I love these women to pieces. I will always cherish our friendship. They are like sisters to me. I can be myself all the time around them and I feel like they get me.
We trashed on Facebook, talked about different social media, shared ideas about raising children in a harsh and scary world and how funny/odd Utahns are. We really are a special bunch.
We stayed way past when we said we'd stay. I stayed way past my bed time and left around 1:15 AM. Val and I ended up at the scary Smith's on Redwood Road at 1:30 in the morning picking up some things for the Sabbath. This is what happens after 1:00 AM:
