Family Vacation Day 3

We went to the "Disney Church" Sunday morning at 9. I love that church because it has an old layout and there's something nostalgic about it. The ward is really small and they say that about 50% of the attendance each week is visitors. We were somehow able to keep Caleb quiet and Amy made a new best friend with the cute little girl in front of her.

 After church we went home to change clothes and then headed over to the California Science Center. That place is pretty rad. It's totally free and is just as cool as the big museums in Utah that are overpriced. *cough* Thanksgiving Point.

We bought $2 tickets before the trip to go check out the Endeavor Space Shuttle which has been in space 25 times. NO BIG DEAL. It was awesome. There really aren't words. I'm so glad Scott knew about it and got us to go. Also, going to the bathroom in space is weird. 

I'm glad I'll never have to do it. 

Amy got some quality time in with little C. I can't believe she's really gone.

We explored the rest of the museum and then put our lives in danger by eating in L.A. at some ghetto fast food joint. We didn't realize how sketchy it was until we realized there was a cop in there watching everybody like a hawk and we were the only people there who didn't look like we lived out of a duffle bag. That sounds terrible but it's true. We were in a scary part of town and didn't realize it. I also witnessed someone in the parking lot checking car doors to see if they were locked. We were excited to leave...and head to the beach! Manhattan Beach was the closest one to where we were so we used our handy dandy iPhone to get us there.

It was super windy and chilly so I didn't want to get in the water. Danny stayed up on the Pier with everyone and Cole and I went down into the waves to dip our feet in.

Naturally Cole ended up getting SOAKED from head to toe. 

 At this point we were pretty tired and knew that tomorrow was DISNEYLAND so we went home to try and be in bed at a decent hour.
