I like to call her by her first name, and pretend that we're the best of friends. Okay, not really--but honestly, I am fairly sure that when I'm resurrected as a perfect being--I will look, and be able to sing exactly like Carrie Underwood. Yep--you read that right. It's just a gut feeling. It's nice to know that with all the Hollywood starlets who are ridiculously NON-role model material, there are more humble, talented, hard working celebrities who deserve the fame and attention they're getting (like 3 more CMAs. Go Carrie!) I love this video and song. Too bad you can't buy it anywhere...

This is a great video, indeed! I was able to buy it from the American Idol website though, if you are interested. I watch it on my ipod constantly!

I just have to say that you and Danny made my day this week. But I'm not saying why since I have formally decided that in trying to make a controversy better I made it worse so I shouldn't comment lol! But yeah... you guys are the best. And p.s. Cole looks so darn cute with his short hair. What a heartbreaker.

I am also on a first-name basis with Sarah McLachlan. It's funny because I've talked about her songs and about her before and Kendall was like, "why do you call her Sarah? Since when are you on a first-name basis with her?" I haven't heard much of Carrie Underwood though, but I'll have to check more out!

oh how I love Care-Bear. We are super-tight. I loved her from the first time Ryan asked her if she'd seen any stars in Hollywood. She replied, "No. It's been really cloudy here." I also love that she calls home and wants to talk to her cows. Seriously, she wants her parents to put the phone to their ears-- like I want to hear my kids when I am away. I really adore her and I love this song/video.

Ok I love YOU more than Carrie. I don't think you know how funny you are. I laugh all the time, out loud while I read your blog. I do like Carrie (even if she has a split personality-anyone who has hit songs "Jesus Take the Wheel" and then "Before He Cheats" is a little confused). Anyway, this song is so beautiful, especially the children in it. This is also my 3rd attempt at commenting to your blog. Hope this one goes through. :)
