Party Time
Danny and I had fun tonight. No--we had a lot of fun. I hope our guests did too :) Our friend Katie is having a birthday here in a couple of days, and we had the opportunity to do a custom birthday cake for her, and make dinner for her, her brother Brian and his Barbie-Beautiful-Girlfriend Jessica :) So here we have me, a toothpick gymnast (Katie) , and a Barbie. Well--I've preached about being real, so here's the reality: I didn't even get a chance to do my hair after my shower because Danny and I were running around cleaning, getting the cake and dinner ready, and I barely got mascara on--so ummmmmmmm yeah. After dinner, we surprised her with this cake, and then played Turbo Cranium. Oh, and we won. Katie was even a good sport and wore these cheap necklaces that I bought in the party section at Wal-Mart. Happy Birthday Katie! I'm sure taking that cake back to your dorm will definitely win you coolest Freshman award! (Please--you don't need the cake to win it--but it'll help).

Oh, and the chocolate "thing" sticking out of the cake was actually a chocolate heart that Danny piped onto parchment paper, cooled, and then stuck in the cake. We'll have to experiment with chocolate more often. There's so much you can do with it!
