Operation Egg Hunt
Yesterday was our second annual Easter Egg Hunt here at our apartment complex. There was a really good turnout, and we had lots of fun (even if the pictures show kids crying--uh, I just photo shopped that). Cole had a rough morning. He didn't get much sleep and was ready for a nap, so he was pretty emotional. Aside from that--we had a great time. It was the PERFECT day for an egg hunt. I even got a little sun burned! It felt marvelous.
You should have seen all of us going crazy with our cameras. It was like we were tourists from Asia visiting Disneyland for the first time. :)
Cole and his cuz on the hunt. Cole was actually more interested in his cookie, and Spencer looks like he was enjoying that Disney Princess ball...
This caption should read: "What eggs? I have a cookie in my hand!"
Finally figuring it out. I love his little sandals.
Enjoying the fruits of his labors. OK fine, I did most of the work since he was so enamored with his cookie.
Uh--he isn't crying, he is sneezing. Yeah...
Finally--a smile (once Dad got home from work and joined the fun)
Alisha brought her bike and trailer and gave the kids rides. She was CLEARLY the most popular adult there. She was so great to give everybody rides. It was the highlight of the day for Cole.Briel and Cole enjoying a romantic cruise around the apartment complex.
Cole was recovering from an "episode" but Isaiah couldn't hold back his excitement.
The whole gang. I told you we had a good turnout! I'm pretty sure we'll be here next year, so we'll see you all next year. Same time, same place.
