Top 12 Performances

This post is for my five readers who love my Idol posts :) For semi-obvious reasons I chose not to post David's performance, but you can find it on YouTube.com (I say semi, because if you didn't watch the show, you might not have heard what happened). Anyway, here it is folks.

Seyesha: I liked her at the beginning of the season. I don't think she has chosen a song that really showcases her talent though! I am getting bored with her quickly.

Chikezie: LOVED his performance. Aside from the fact that he and Ryan were being total spazzes together on stage, he just looked like he was having such a good time, and he can sing! I giggled through the whole song b/c it was so fun.

Jason: I'm a big fan. It wasn't my favorite song, but I thought he did enough to keep him there another week. Does anybody else think he's pretty? He is honestly prettier than some WOMEN.

Ramiel: B O R I N G.

David H: Gross. Ever since finding out about his sketchy past, I just can't even stand him. Some might say I'm judgmental. That's fine. You can judge me if you want :) I don't think he deserves to win. I'm not too stressed about it though.

Carly: Wow. She is spot on every week. I don't think she'll win because I don't think she appeals to a broad enough fan base, but I think she's freaking talented.

Amanda: Um, no. I wonder how many packs of cigarettes she smokes right before her performances. Danny also pointed out that she looks like Roseanne (her face).

David C: I don't know why--but I love him! I'm usually not into his "type" of music, but I have really loved his last few performances. I find myself wanting to belt at the top of my lungs along with him. He's got edge...but he doesn't seem arrogant to me. I think he'll go far.

Brooke: She is the whole package. A good girl, a good singer, a good musician, (very unique and cool sound to her voice) and I thought last night was her "moment" a lot like when David Archuleta sang "Imagine".

Kristy: LOL. I totally laughed through her entire performance because I don't think anything could have prepared me for how she slaughtered that song. From beginning to end, it was just wrong. So very wrong. Goodbye Kristy.

Michael: I thought Randy said it well. "Kinda Sleepy". I like him, and I like his style, but I found myself kind of bored towards the end. He'll go far though. Please--the accent alone launches him into the top 4.

David A: Oh.....man....I felt so awkward and bad for him. I know he had strep throat (Entertainment Tonight people--I didn't call his agent) and you could tell in his interview he sounded "off". I think he's got to be pretty overwhelmed with all the pressure. People have had their eyes on him since his audition (hi, me) and every week he is supposed to get better and better? I think he'll be fine tonight. We usually vote, but all our phones were dead last night (of course) so we didn't. I can't imagine what the nerves must be like, and for only being 17--that's a big burden to carry. Anyway, la dee da, I'm sure this isn't news to anyone. I think either 2 things will happen after last night. 1) He'll come back next week to wow us or 2) It'll throw him off completely. I'm very hopeful that he'll wow us next week. No matter what--I'll always be a big supporter.
