What's up with the Whites
I'm sure some people get sick of me using collages for EVERY single entry now, but I can't help it. It's the easiest/fastest way to blog for me. Plus, if you enlarge the collage you can still see the small pictures well. SO, having said that--here's what we've been up to.
RaeLynn and Brittany went to Women's Conference together {Mom Miller came too} and afterwords we had a liiiittle too much sugar from the Iceberg Drive Inn.

Cole is catching on to laundry and I don't mind one bit! He loves to push the buttons {when I let him} and he loads and unloads the washer properly. What a kid. I'm glad I've temporarily fooled him into thinking that laundry is cool.

We {Danny, I seriously did nothing} made a cake for Trent and his family. It ended up so cute and Danny spent a good portion of the day making it. It was worth it though. We heard Trent loved it so much he didn't want to cut into it! :) Mom Miller also piped some delicious frosting onto some yummy chocolate cupcakes. By the way, the hands and feet of the Frankenstein are cookies! That is all I was in charge of. Isn't that a great idea? Yum.

Our favorite Shannon Manning got married! Danny was also honored to make her wedding cake. It was simple, classy and elegant. We are related to the Mannings through my Grandma Claire {who has passed away}. It was my Grandpa Egan's 3rd marriage. He had lost his two previous wives to cancer. My mother is an only child, so these guys are the only family we have on her side of the family. We clicked from the first time we hung out with them. Even though Grandma is gone and we were "technically" only related to them through the marriage of my Grandpa to their Grandpa--we LOVE THEM. They are family as far as I'm concerned. It was a great day and Shannon was stunningly gorgeous. As usual. The cake is crooked in this picture and it's really bugging me--but I'm too lazy to straighten it. Dah well.
Sheena--I had to put this picture in of you-know-who. Hopefully it's OK :) haha.

A few more shots of the wedding day. Cole was {as usual} in a 3 year old mood and didn't want to cooperate for any pictures. So, I had Julia pose as my adorable daughter for a picture by the pond and Uncle Brian caught a picture of Cole "praying". Cole was such a big boy eating spaghetti with his fancy plasticware. It was such a fun weekend. I wish they were always this fun to blog about!

On a completely unrelated note--The Davids BOTH have albums coming out in November. I have heard snippets of songs from both albums and I am DYING. I seriously don't know how another season of Idol can top Season 7. Bring it on people--because you've got some big shoes to fill.

And seriously, your husband makes some amazing cakes. I'm sure they taste as good as they look.
I love it when kids think chores are fun. We better enjoy it while it lasts!
