Why didn't They Tell Me Part 4

There are several things about this picture that I just DON'T GET.

1. The fact that ONCE AGAIN, I am wearing a sweater with denim shorts! Now, I know this isn't a typical sweater. But that makes it *almost* worse. This is a blowsy type sweater that would be worn with a black pencil skirt to church or with nice slacks to work. Why am I wearing it with denim shorts while hanging out at a cabin?
2. The fact that I am wearing thick, calf-length tube socks with this ensemble...um, excuse me?
3. The fact that neither Stephanie nor Britt mentioned how extremely LAME I looked.

P.S. You gotta loves the scrunchy on my wrist. I am truly a product of the 90's. Well, I was born in '80, but whatever.

I am telling you--if the show What Not to Wear was on back in those days, I would have been a prime candidate. OK, let's be real...I am probably still a great candidate but at least I have become a bit more fashion aware that I don't make such obvious blunders as these.

I wish scrunchies were still in. Seriously most days I just want to have one on my wrist.. Of course, matching my outfit at all times.

Sometimes I wonder if DI has like an entire room full of scrunchies that all of us Mormons are finally realizing we're never going to wear again. I seriously gave them like a box-full of scrunchies before we moved (many of which were made with the same fabrics as my church dresses in junior high...priceless!)

I have an issue with this post... you do NOT look bad at all. Granted, I have no fashion sense, so I wouldn't be able to comment on the faux pas that are being committed, but when I first looked at the picture I wondered why you included it in this series. You're hot.

Oh, and there's a gay guy that I work with who would probably take all donated scrunchies willingly. He's always got one in his pony tail that matches his outfit.

So, I still have that sweater from the 90's. I was going to wear it to school with some denim capri's today. Man, I am so glad I didn't now.
Seriosly, I still have that sweater.
