Why Didn't They Tell Me Part 7
If you're new to this segment...it's called Why Didn't They Tell Me. Basically a bunch of super embarrassing picture of myself that I think are worthy to show the entire universe. Welcome and enjoy.
Camouflage is not a good look for me.
I'm not sure why it look so long for me to figure this out. Maybe it's because my Sophomore roommate Sonnie was in the ROTC and I wanted to be like her because I watched 30 pounds melt off of her in a matter of weeks. Of course, she was extremely buff and had a very "masculine" voice--so...anyway.
Camouflage is not a good look for me. Picture 1 is me trying to act "cool" in my personal {gross} camo. Like I said...I'm not sure why I thought it was such a cool thing to do. It's more in style NOW than it was 10 years ago. This is easily blamed on all of my roommates that year. I should have been warned or pulled into a dark corner with some handy tips on how not to look disgusting.
But the kicker is picture 2. If you haven't noticed--I'm not a size 4 (or even a 12...we just won't go there) and I decided to be G.I. Jane for Halloween. See? I was totally into being tough. So, I get on ALL my roommates gear and try to SQUEEZE into it. She had obviously lost a bunch of weight and was in a smaller uniform now. I was barely fitting into it. The belt is what seals the deal for me. This is NOT a flattering look for me. I don't know why I just didn't look in a flipping MIRROR. They apparently didn't exist in 1999.
Every time I see somebody wearing camouflage I'm glad it's them and not me. It's just not meant to be.

Comments
Even GI Jane wore a sexy Tank with her camo Garb! Boy how I miss those Tank top days.....(sigh)
@Amelia--I agree, picture 1 was better. I think I needed to prepare everyone for what was coming though--it was a good ice breaker, don't you think?
@Val--I am only one size bigger than Annie...what are you trying to say?
