Turkey Day Top Ten

I can't believe Thanksgiving is 10 days away! I'm just going to do a little countdown for 10 things that I'm grateful for. They might not be profound or important, but they'll just be things that I love and appreciate. I'm saving the best for last--so to start out in David Letterman Style...here is #10.

10. I am grateful for my bed.

Wouldn't it be really cool if that was really my bed? Yeah...but anyway, this bed looks comfortable to me. And my bed is comfortable. I remember coming home from my mission and having a brand new bed to lay in. I would just lay in bed for the first few weeks and try to wrap my head around the fact that I was SO comfortable. I just laid there smiling because I never wanted to get out. There's just something to be said for a nice squishy mattress and a warm comforter. A lot of my items of gratitude will stem from my mission experiences and this is no exception. Some of the people I met slept in hammocks (like 90% of them) and the rest slept in very uncomfortable beds or on the ground. I am still so grateful that I can get into a big comfortable bed and get a good night's rest. Mmmm, that sounds delightful. Goodnight.
