Turkey Day Top Ten

4. I am grateful for music.

Music has a tremendous power. It can lift, heal, comfort, motivate and inspire people. I have always loved music. It seems to "speak" to me in a way that nothing else can. Unfortunately there is a lot of music out there that "speaks" to people in a negative way. There always has been, and there always will be. I am grateful that from a young age, good music was a part of our home. For as long as I can remember, we've had a piano in our home. I remember my dad playing "Bridge Over Troubled Water" on the piano a lot when I was younger--and now I have a musical husband who loves to play as well. I unfortunately am not great on the piano. If only I had a guitar...*cough*. We grew up listening to classic rock, classical, country and some more classic rock. To this day--I love lots of different genres of music. I think there is even some mild rap music that is fun (when I know the lyrics are clean). This is just a little taste of music that I am into right now. This may change from day to day--but for today, this is what I'm into.

Im diggin it

I love all of your "thankful fors"! I can't believe all the mission pictures/stories. Man...that must have been SOME culture shock! And I also want to add that I am also very grateful for YOUR sense of humor too! It's nice that everyone can enjoy it!
