We'll Miss You, Misty

It might seem laughable to some that we'll miss a cat. Misty was a part of our family for 15 years and she was put to sleep last week due to renal failure and old age.

I pretty much don't care if people think it's dumb. She was a sweet little thing and was basically like another child to my Mom. Cole obviously loved her too. She's buried in the backyard now and even though he doesn't grasp the concept that she's gone--he just keeps saying that she's in Heaven with Great Grandma Miller.

If all dogs really go to Heaven, I think it's only fair that cats get to go too.
