Cole's First Day

Why on earth am I still awake? It's past my bedtime, but I couldn't help and blog this little collage real quick. Here's a little peek of what Cole's first day of Preschool was like. He was SO excited that his name was written on a CAR on the door. Simply amazing. He was pumped to play with the puzzles, tea set (heh), cars and markers. He loved every second of it and even though I am a helper in his room, I try to stay out of his way and not interfere. I don't want to jump in if his teacher is disciplining him or trying to get his attention. I'm there to help the class run smoothly and help out the teacher, not hover over Cole like a helicopter. His teacher is amazing. I really like her and the children adore her. I especially like how she just randomly bursts into song for the most random things like picking up your wrappers. She just starts singing and making a tune and pretty soon the kids start singing a long. Genius.
Preschool was a smashing success and still is. Even though I didn't get the classic picture of him on the first day of school on the porch or holding on to the front door handle, I did snag a picture of him while making a puzzle when he first got there. He wasn't interested in posing. He had more important things to do that day. Like toys, treats, recess and tracing his name. Life is SO complicated when you're 3. The girl in the skirt is a TA. She comes in a for a few hours a day to help out.
