Family Fun Day

A couple weeks ago we left town. We drove 30 miles into Salt Lake. Does that count? It was fantastic. We had a free lunch at Chili's, rode TRAX in the free fair zone and went to the Children's Museum for dirt cheap. Oh, I love coupons.
If you've never been, there are lots of things to do, but it isn't worth paying full price. Some of you might want to beat me over the head for saying that, but it's true. I thought it was going to be much bigger. We had a good time, though...especially knowing that normally we would have had to pay TWENTY FOUR dollars just for 3 people. 2 adults who didn't do much. Can you say overpriced?
ANYwho, we had a swell time. Here are some pics to prove it. In case you didn't know--Cole and I got to the journalists for a few minutes and reported on a story nearby. Something about Build-A-Bear being ridiculously expensive or something...
Cole got to "fly" in a chopper, "ride" a hourse, draw a story board, "act" on a stage with multiple backdrops and then he built the largest lego house in the history of all lego houses (in his mind--don't spoil it for him, OK?).

Comments
And by the way Rae, I am still here, and look at your blog everytime you update it. Sorry I dont comment much, I use the googlereader and my computer is way to slow to bring up everyones blog to comment. So I just dont. Which I need to be better cause I love the comments too. I will try to be better.
Your little cole is growing up way too fast. Glad he likes preschool.
